Hello Everyone,
I was diagnosed with ALS 8 years ago. It was devastating, but the ALS Association made it a little less overwhelming. They sponsor multidisciplinary clinics, fund research, facilitate support groups and offer assistive devices, to name just a few of their services.
I’m grateful for their support and raise funds for them once a year during walk season. My blog readers have been amazingly generous in the past and I hope you’ll find it in your hearts again this year to participate.
If you would like to donate to my walking team, here is a link to my fundraising page.
If you’re in the Kansas City area and would like to join my walking team, here is a link to the sign up page.
The walk is October 5 at Kauffman Stadium and it’s only about a mile. My husband and one of my daughters will be there as well as some good friends. Special bonus – my sisters Virginia and Jenifer will be there from out of town! ( I’ll be cheering from home.)
Thank you so much for your support!!
Jane and I were just confirming this morning. Tell Paul that we will be there.

GEHA is sponsoring a team this year. I signed up to walk but can’t now as we have a band competition that morning in Sedalia. Made my donation and will get my mile walk in at the band comp. Can’t believe it’s been 8 years since your diagnosis.
